Democrat=Socialist: Obama Heckled In Miami

  • Carlos Echevarria · 1 year ago
Coral Gables is my hometown but I know live in the suburbs of Miami...Kendall.
I was going to go but I wasn't sure I was going to get out of the Bank United Center without vomiting during that Nuremberg Rally.

Now I regret not going.....BTW, it is the second time Barry has been heckled in Florida in the last months, in Tampa by some African Americans as well.

    Welcome Carlos!
I only wish more would understand that regardless of Obama's skin color, he is an outright communist. How could any parent with a conscience vote for this guy?

Enjoy the weather, I'm in Central Florida and its been sweet for about a week.

"You can also see that Obama is visibly shaken"

Where is that? It wasn't evident when I watched the video.

    "moe gub'ment"

    Really?
  • Buffoon · 1 year ago
your going to beat me up no matter what I do aren't you memyslef? LOL its okay....

Is your "really?" question directed at the words or how I spelled them?

If you try to convince me that the democrat party is not completely socialistic (moe gub'ment) then our conversation is over, that's one of the things I lose respect for the left with quickest is their inability to tell the truth about their true agenda.

The immorality, weakness in the face of our enemies and thought that government needs to run our lives because we're just too stupid to do it ourselves is infuriating.

The democrat party doesn't give two shits about anyone except the democrat party, republic be damned...

No... I have no problem with the label "socialist". Though looking at the rampant corporate bailouts taking place, I'm a bit nonplussed as to how the label can only be applied to Democrats.

Immorality is certainly relative. Weakness in the face of our enemies... well, how can we appear weaker than we do now? Our economy is crashing. That's weakness. And that weakness was allowed to flourish during a Republican presidency. Though certainly their are culprits on both sides of the political spectrum. Furthermore, we've stretched our military might too thin, which makes us appear even weaker.

As for people being too stupid? Yeah, I kinda believe that people, left to their own devices, are far to stupid to take care of themselves. Does that mean the government should take care of them? Well, I favor free medical assistance for the employed and more economic investment in public schools. I also favor a much wider use of the death penalty, enforced sterilization reversible only for those with a high school diploma, a huge military budget , higher taxes across the board and dramatically reduced federal aid for third world countries.

Most likely, much of the direction I believe would be best for the country is at odds with your own beliefs. But I will certainly tell the truth about what I think is best. And I'm not really interested in attacking your own convictions as I can see clearly that you are passionate about what you think is best for the country. Which is certainly laudable.

But in short, I am not particularly impressed with either the Democrats or the Republicans. There are only two sides in my mind to our current political situation. The politicians versus the rest of us.

But as for the "really" comment, it was in reference to the stereotype and I was only one quarter serious. The lack of inflection on the internet and all that.

As Ali G would say, "big up yaself!"
That was a mouthful, I'm tempted to use it all as a post.

Agreed with some and of course, not on the rest.

    Two quick things.

You under estimate the military as it is and over estimate the ability of more money to "affect" change in the public school systems. The union makes sure that the budget grows, the control increases and that teachers "stay on message." (lock step).

One thing we DO agree on, it's us against them.
I believe also that the average person who votes (D) doesn't know any better. The ones who get voted for are the ones who deny they are socialist and pretend patriotism.
  • memyself · 1 year ago
Sorry. Real life is a bit time consuming right now, but I wanted to drop back in and respond. You are almost certainly correct about the average Democrat voter. But I submit that this is likely true of the average Republican voter as well. In case you missed it or I failed to mention it earlier, I don't really have a tremendous amount of faith in the average person. Republican or Democrat, a sizable portion (though certainly not all) will vote without any real understanding of issues (and many simply will not vote). And yes, politicians on both sides of the fence will often exploit this and misrepresent themselves.

    Back to real life now.

I would add to the "neither from either party vote with any sort of graspo of what they are voting for' argument with this.

"ignorant" republicans vote out of a sense of patriotism
"ignorant" socialist voters vote that way out of a misguided sense that America is bad and the old class envy tactic exploited by the enemy, yes enemy...
